The Media Library is your centralized hub for managing all visual content. Upload, organize, crop for different platforms, and track media usage across your social channels.
What is the Media Library?
The Media Library helps you:

Getting Started
Accessing the Media Library
From Sidebar:
- Go to Reputation Command Center → Media
- Or navigate to Business Hub → Visual Assets Library
From Content Creator:
- When creating a post, click Media Library
- Select existing media
- Returns to post editor with media attached
Uploading Media
Single Upload:
- Click Upload button
- Select image or video file
- Choose category
- Add description (optional)
- Click Upload
Bulk Upload:
- Click Upload button
- Select multiple files (Shift+Click or Cmd/Ctrl+Click)
- Choose category for all or individually
- Click Upload All
- Files process in queue
Drag and Drop:
- Drag files from your computer
- Drop onto Media Library area
- Choose category
- Auto-upload starts
File Requirements
Images:
- Formats: JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP
- Max Size: 10 MB per file
- Recommended: 1080px+ width for quality
Videos:
- Formats: MP4, MOV
- Max Size: 100 MB per file (larger files may take time)
- Recommended: 1080p resolution

Creating Crops
Automated Cropping:
- Select image in Media Library
- Click Create Crops
- Platform options appear
- Select platforms to create crops for
- Click Generate Crops
- Crops created automatically with smart centering
Manual Cropping:
- Select image
- Click Crop for specific platform
- Adjust crop area (drag corners)
- Preview crop
- Click Save Crop
Available Crop Formats
Instagram:
- Square (1:1) - 1080x1080px
- Portrait (4:5) - 1080x1350px
- Stories (9:16) - 1080x1920px
TikTok:
- Vertical (9:16) - 1080x1920px
Facebook:
- Square (1:1) - 1080x1080px
- Landscape (1.91:1) - 1200x630px
Google Business:
- Square (1:1) - 1080x1080px
Using Cropped Versions
When creating content:
- Select media from library
- Choose platform-specific crop
- Or use original image
- Platform auto-selects best crop
Auto-Selection:
- Instagram post → Square crop used
- Instagram Reels → Stories crop used
- TikTok → Vertical crop used
- Facebook → Depends on post type

See Where Media is Used
For each media item:
- Click media to open details
- Scroll to Usage section
- See list of posts using this media
- Click post to view/edit
Usage Information Shown:
- Post caption preview
- Platforms published to
- Publish date
- Post status (published/scheduled/draft)
- Performance metrics (if published)

Bulk Operations
Bulk Upload
Upload many files at once:
- Click Upload → Bulk Upload
- Select multiple files (up to 50)
- Choose default category
- Or set category per file
- Click Start Upload
- Monitor progress bar
Tips:
- Name files descriptively before upload
- Group similar content for easier categorization
- Upload in batches by category
- Check file sizes (larger = slower)
Bulk Categorize
Change multiple categories:
- Filter or search to find media
- Select items (checkboxes)
- Click Bulk Actions → Change Category
- Select new category
- Confirm change
Bulk Delete
Remove multiple items:
- Select items to delete
- Click Bulk Actions → Delete
- Confirm deletion
- Items permanently removed
⚠️ Warning: Deletion is permanent. Media used in published posts will still display, but original is deleted from library.
Bulk Crop Creation
Create crops for multiple images:
- Select images (videos don't have crops)
- Click Bulk Actions → Create Crops
- Select platforms
- Click Generate
- Crops created for all selected images
Storage Management
Storage Limits
By Plan:
- Starter: 5 GB
- Professional: 25 GB
- Enterprise: 100 GB+
File Counting:
- Original uploads count against limit
- Crops don't count separately
- Deleted files free up space
- Usage shown in dashboard
Monitoring Usage
Storage Dashboard:
- Go to Media Library → Storage
- See current usage
- View breakdown by file type
- See largest files
Indicators:
- ✅ Green: Under 70% usage
- ⚠️ Orange: 70-90% usage
- ❌ Red: Over 90% usage
Managing Storage
When Running Low:
- Delete unused media
- Remove old/outdated content
- Compress large files before upload
- Archive to local storage
- Upgrade plan if needed
